I saw nothing out of the normal from him. Stats were 43/8/1.6 over 37 hands. Note villain has $8.50 behind after his donk bet.

Call and reevaluate, folding the turn most of the time.

I would raise to $6 and call a push. Donk bets are draws most of the time at these limits

Given his post flop aggression I'd go for this a lot more. I'd mix it up a bit though with a reraise just to try and get a clearer picture of where I stand. I tend to find at this level that anyone with a set will bet out about 1/2 pot or wait for the turn to get action.

Yeah, villain has either a monster, a good A, or a draw/air. You'll get a much better idea of which when you see his turn action. This approach is only costly vs. a villain who is willing to fire two barrels with draw/air (because you'll fold UI), but without a read I assume not.

I was wondering what you would do if the turn was say, the 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif and he checked to you. Do you check behind or bet out? If you bet, how much do you bet?

I normally check behind on the turn in this situation. If he calls the raise on the flop then alarm bells are ringing and I'm done with the hand unless I hit my kicker in this situation or my image is as a solid player who has only been showing monster hands, the villain is likely to make a big laydown and only then I might fire another bet to take the pot here.

Call it looks like spades, re-eval turn like other guy said.

I think reraise him in this spot to better find out where your at in the hand.

Any re-raise pot commits you at this point. I think if you re-raise, you need to push him all in. A reraise to 6 and he calls makes the pot $14. Are you folding to a $7.00 bet in a $21.00 pot?
