The laws in Italy about online poker

I have read in a couple of posts about Italy's govt making it illegal there to play online poker, in 2007 though it will be made legal again. Does anyone have any links or info about exactly what the law was/is about online poker and igaming in Italy, as well as y this law was turned over? I think it would be interesting to compare it to what is going on here in the states.

so no one knows jack about what happened in Italy? What happened there is the closest thing in the world that is happening here in regards to poker. I guess Ill have to google it or something.
