I have no read on villain here. Only 6 hands. His flop bet looks weak so i decide to raise it up. After his call I have no idea whether he is drawing or has top pair with a better kicker. Should I just check behind here? Obviously its a good fold to the c/r. What about my flop raise? Against an unkown what is the best way to play this hand?

Preflop either fold or raise. On the flop I may have raised it to .60

As played, I'm folding to the villian's push.

looks fine. A check behind on the turn would probably have you staring at a river bet, so I don't mind your bet on 4th to find out if you were good. He also *may* throw away a hand that has you beat by betting into the 3-flush -- although it's unlikely at these stakes /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think checking and maybe calling a smallish bet on the turn is probably best. I think pot control outweighs hand protection here.
