Effective stacks, $44.

6-handed.

UTG limps. Folded to me in the sb and i make it 2.5 with QQ. BB and UTG call.

Flop: 9d8c6d (pot is $7.5)

I bet 7.5, bb folds UTG calls.

Turn is the Js (pot is 22.5)

I bet $11 and he calls

River is the Td giving me a straight (pot is $44.5)

I check and he insta bets all-in for $22.85. I fold

Hmm.. well, because of your check on the River, he could easily make this play with any 7. The pot is big enough for him to push all-in. The pot is laying you almost 3 to 1 on the River. I donīt know, tough spot. He could have had a combined flush and straight draw on the flop, because he called that big of a bet. (pot bet). The only straight that beats you is KQ. But KQ is not likely, that would be just awful play by him UNLESS, he had KQ of diamonds.

Iīd call...But I wouldnīt like it.

Why did you pot flop but bet half pot on turn? Bet around 15-16 on turn and bet 20 on river. I hate the c/f.

I feel if I bet more than half the pot on the flop I commit myself to call a river bet. Then I'm gonna have to pay his two pair/set/straight (unless theres four to a staight)/rivered trips/rivered flush off. My hand is not strong enough to commit myself. If i had a set or something I would probably bet more because I wouldnt mind calling a river bet as much.

And shoving turn definetely sucks, most of the time I'm only getting called by better hands
