I like a turn checkraise, usually. If he's a call station who will stay in with any PP, 7, maybe 5, etc., then I prefer to VB.

Why not raise pf?

Do you have any kind of read on villain? Defending your blinds with KQs against a button steal is really read dependent.

As played you really want to lead out on the flop as it makes the rest of the hand so much easier to play. It sucks to put in a moderate c/r on the flop and get flat called, especially when you make a mediocre hand as a result.

When you lead out the options that follow -

1. He folds, free money!
2. He calls, but you haven't bloated the pot out of position.
3. He raises and you push because the overlay is sufficient to make up for the fact you're probably a slightly dog to his range and he folds to such pressure a lot (also free money).

I push this turn every single time. Even if you are behind you have so many outs that combined with folding equity makes this push really standard IMO.

I was wondering how people would play the river. Would the check call a PSB, c/f, or lead out for something like 2/3s pot, or something else?

I probably push turn.. despite the fact that you are rather deep.

Reads?

If villain is aggressive, I like c/c flop and c/r AI turn.

Against a passive, I lead flop and turn.

As played, I open-push the turn. I probably fold to his river push.

I bet/3bet flop. Turn check is ok, so is a bet. On the river I bet out for sure.

b3b flop looks really attractive. if you c/r might as well make it pot because you're calling a push anyway.
