Did I play this all wrong?

You're bet is not even truly a pot-sized-raised. a PSR would have been to 38 (8 to match + 30). His bet was merely a c-bet that folded to aggression. I predict he would have folded a minraise.

I believe that on THIS dry of a board you can call down once, and try betting the turn once the pot has some significance. The texture of this flop is about as dry as it can possibly be, there is nothing much that calls your raise to fear.

This is a time when I would slow down with aces and c/r turn. You have position so use it and the board isn't dangerous. He could limp with JT, QJ, or KJ or a small/mid PP (I've seen plenty of villains limp TT). If you call flop, the pot is now $30 and villain will have $30 behind on turn. So if he makes any non donk bet on the turn and you RR AI he will have to call with anything.

You definitely didn't play it all wrong IMO, bc slowplaying aces can get you stacked easily. However on this flop there's nothing to worry about.

Call flop.

If he bets on the turn you are all in.

If he checks, you bet 3/4 pot.

I'd raise the flop ai. The pot is big enough. I'd be very happy to take it down with just a pair. If ur beat, ur going broke , regardless of call or raise.
