just my n00b 2 cent:

i especially dislike the check-behind in the first hand. with this board, you don't wanna get fancy but you should wanna find out where you stand. i'd throw in about 2/3psb. turn is very meh. question is if your opponent still would have had the guts to raise you on the turn with nothing (or not very much of a hand) if you had bet the river. if you get raised on the turn after having bet the flop, it's time to muck.

Hand 1: Raise preflop to 2$. Bet flop. Bet Turn - if he still raises you here you have to consider letting your hand go. Because you checked flop the rest of the hand gives you problems. Its really hard to put villain on a hand.

Hand 2: I would push flop here. What hands can he raise with UTG that you dont beat on the flop? I think your ahead on the flop here.

hand 1: this is complete spew. bet the flop. fold to the turn c/r.

hand 2: just 3 bet push the flop.

why is calling the minraise on the turn in Hand 1 spew? At that point in the hand, what is villain's range that calls from the SB, then calls a raise?

another problem in hand 1 might be that after the flop, sb is likely to think that OP wants to steal the pot and therefore raises the turn with not much of a hand.

why is this a problem? don't we always want weaker hands to be betting into us?

true on one hand. on the other hand, hero still doesn't know where he's at with his hand.

As long as you bet it aggressively and know when to get out you will be up, I'm still up quite a bit with AA, but you will have bad runs like this where you get called down by donks who catch BS. Just focus on your play and it will come around.
