Was this a good play? Opponent is very loose, flop is non threathing. I raised on the flop to get informations. I thought this was better than just calling. Should I call an all in? I doubt. He represented a great strength by reraising. What do you think?

GL at the tables!

Strongly consider raising this preflop, it leaves you with lots more flexibility to be aggressive postflop.

As played, yuck. I may call MP1's flop bet, but that's probably the last I put in UI. There are still 3 opponents in when the action's to you on the flop, and any one of them could be playing a bigger pair, have a 3, have a big draw. Your reverse implied odds here absolutely suck; there are exactly two cards in the deck that make you happy, every other one makes you sad. Your chances of improvement are small, and no way do you hold up in a showdown UI.

So flop's a very possible fold (remember, MP1 is betting into a field of five), and no way is it a raise.

This raise wasn't made based on the card strength, just on gaining informations. Now when he went all in, I assumed my hand was no good, so I folded. Is that of thinking wrong (is it because it is a multiway pot)?

Raising for useless information isn't a good plan. Additional information isn't really necessary here.

What does the fact that the pot is multiway have anything to do with your decision to fold to the raise?

If you think your hand is no good, then folding is a good option. I don't see why you would think your thinking is wrong.

I didn't mean that. I mean if thinking about folding is wrong. I meant raising to get informations. Sorry, my english sometimes sucks. Now I see that it is really useless information. If he calls he might be slowplaying while if he goes all in, I fold.

And about raising preflop which was recommendation. This is microNL, opponents are loose and unsophisticated (other expression is fish). Would it accomplish anything?
