I was reading this excellent post which got bumped up today:

Then this hand came up. I was just about to click "check" when into my head popped "raise that [censored] up." But that's insane. I've got such a panzy hand. Then he called, which I was really hoping he wouldn't. There was no way I could fire out at this flop. Or was there?

I would have folded pf, flop is good.

I raise practially any two cards if the SB completes. Between the raise and the standard c-bet, I'll take the pot at least 50% of the time and usually more.

This is pretty standard, you probably could've won the pot with that same board without a preflop raise.
