25 NL FT - Check or Bet the nut straight on the river?

I was wondering whether there is any merit to checking here. The obvious flush hit home, but is it worth betting to extract from the idiot end of the straight or better to check/call.

No reads on MP2. SB is tight passive and is 19.8/1.8/.8 over 110 hands.

bet 3 or 4, he could easily have a K or picked up a draw on the turn or any number of hands.

I throw out a thin value bet of $2.

If he hits a flush we'll know if he raises you to an insane amount, I doubt a straight would have checked or just called with such a drawy board, and you get value out of Kx or Qx or 2 pairs.

Ya my standard line is to bet $3 here. That's what I did and the tight passive called showing a flush. I was just checking to see if anyone disagreed with the idea of betting.

I like what others said about a value bet, something that u think he will call and if u get raised dump it. I used to just check here cuz I was a wussie but have started to bet for value and it has brought my profit up as a lot of times I am ahead. bet $1-$1.50 easy for many to call with a K
