1) To those who say reraise pre, I had been doing that frequently w/ ak, big pp, and once w/ SCs. Just mixing it up.

2) I just called the flop bet hoping that weaker draws would come along too. When BB check raises I feel like I have some FE if I push, b/c he had like $50 behnd after he raised (making a normal raise leaves him with like 12 left or something and if turn blanks im calling his small remaining stack anyways).

3) After the hand I was thinking about what my call, RR AI represented and to me it represented exactly what I had, a draw. I can't say if villain was a thinking player, but I do not slowplay boards like these and hadn't really slowplayed at all at this table.

4) If I call the raise on the flop I'm geting like 3:1 w/position, but if the turn bricks I'm facing a huge bet on the turn. Also, I don't know if I get paid off with the flush on the turn, I'm fairly sure I get his stack with the straight on the turn.

So how's my play, is this too aggressive? Do I really have much FE here? In hindsight, c/ring this flop seems strong to me (> top pair). Any thoughts appreciated.

Looks fine. I would raise the initial flop bet, since you're really only scared of a set here. Once BB raises, a push is fine after the PFR folds. You're about a 55/45 dog against KJ with a lot of dead money in the pot and hopefully at least some FE, and you're only in bad shape here if BB has a set. I think we can pretty much rule out KK, and JJ would also seem pretty unlikely, so you're really only afraid of 77 if he calls.

Edit: Oh yeah, and I wouldn't say that you're absolutely repping a draw with this line. Almost all good players would fast play a set on this flop, but a lot of donks would slowplay and only wake up once they see that someone else is willing to play a big pot.

I would personally definitely put you on a draw the way the hand was played.

BB has something better than AK here like always unless he's an aggro donkey.

Id 3-4 bet the intial flop bet and hoped to get reraised from there. If I just get called than the times I hit my draw on the turn or river it will be hard for villian to put me on that kind of hand. I like AI on the flop as well its kind of like I dare u to call, would even be a good hand to post if u needle him a bit. Comn punk I dare u to call. Would luv to see a post like that.

A call and a push usually means a draw and if villain has a pair he will call for sure, so pushing ..without fold equity isn't that great, but it's fine. I did this once , almost the same texture of board and cards and my good friend reminded me to just reraise or push the first time.

Yeah, I guess I got greedy by trying to keep other draws in. He had a set of 7s so I was a 2:1 dog. After thinking about this hand some, I realize I could've saved myself a lot of trouble by just RR pf. I mean if I RR to $7-8 pf, he probably doesn't call and I probably take down the pot pf or with a c-bet on the flop.
