I had played about 30 hands with the villain, and he was about 25/15 or so. He had shown down decent cards so far, but had shown weakness post flop folding probable C-bets twice. Stacks are both around $65.

Folded round to SB, who limps. This was the first time it had been folded round to the SB. I raise to $2 with two cards. He raises to $5 and I call. Flop comes 889r. He leads for $8- whats your play here if I have:

a) An underpair to the board
b) An overpair to the board
c) Overcards
d) A pair of 9's
e) Trip 8's

Assuming I raise to ~$25 and he then pushes, what of the above are you calling the all in with?

a) Fold.
b) Call, raise AA/KK.
c) Fold.
d) Raise.
e) Raise.

I call with anything I raised with.

i am with jigsaws on all of them except the pair of nines. i think it would have to be a big nine to raise here.

I assumed he meant 99. A9 etc. would be a call, just like the overpairs.

sohotrightnow-

did you mean holding pocket 9s or a pair of nines?

I meant 9x for a pair of nines- I cant really see much value in a different line here between 92 and A9.

So basically you guys are putting him on a 3 betting range of TT-AA or 9x. Against a random villain that hasn't gotten out of line, how often do you expect to see 88, 99 or him 3 bet pushing with air?

With the limp-reraise - < 15%. I expect to see JJ+, AK most of the time.
