post a thread (actually a link to it) from here on my class' forum (it is a philosophy class.) I asked in Forum suggestions, but perhaps it is an issue of asking the creator of the thread. I think I am just being paranoid, but I'd rather not get in trouble for posting a link to here or something.

Lol. try rephrasing your post, admins wont' read it like this.

The whole idea of this being wrong is hilarious, i have never ever saw any .com complaining about someone posting a link to their site

if anything, you should ask your class's forum admins if you can post outside links

Yea, I think I meant If i needed the authors permission to post their specific post, not a link to SMP. I suck at interneting. /images/graemlins/grin.gif. Whatever. Problem solved in Forum Suggestions.

There is only an issue if you take somebody elses post and claim it to be your own, but even then, who is gonna find out?
