I snail mailed this letter this morning.
It won't do much good because our districts in California are so gerrymandered that he has little to fear.
But he can wonder how this will all play out in areas that are competitive.

Sir,
I am a lifelong republican, aerospace engineer, Vietnam Era Navy veteran, conservative to a fault.
This election I am voting for your Democratic opponent.
I play online poker as a hobby and you have supported legislation that is making this more difficult and potentially legally troublesome.
Sir, what I do on MY computer, in MY upstairs office, using MY money is none of your darn business. Poker, porn, or politics, it is MY affair. (Poker being by far the more redeeming, the other two are a tossup.)
I shall continue to vote against all who attempt to legislate my very private behavior.
There is a mess in Iraq, (you, of all people, should be ashamed, being silent while good soldiers die in such an ineptly handled endeavor), Immigration out of control, spending shooting skyward and out of sight, so who needs republicans anyway? The Democrats can do an equally awful job, and they are far less likely to worry about what I am doing upstairs in my office.
