Should I just bet out like I did, or let a free card come off to get more value? Here I dought Id get much action unless Im beat or against a total donk. Whats the best way to make more $?

make a standard cbet, which at these stakes should be 75 cents IMO.

Just bet the normal amount, $0.75 in this case. This looks too much like a 'call-me-please' bet.
A slowplay could work too, but only if an Ace comes on the turn (and one of your opponents has an Ace). Otherwise you won't get action anyway, in most cases.

Only way to create a big pot is to start betting!

I think no matter what I bet unless its 20 cents or less Im telling them what I got and at stars people dont bet the pot they be like half to 3/4 the pot unless its draw heaving.

I just wanted to emphasize this.

I would make it .75 on the flop

Sometimes you don't get action on your big hands, it happens!

the only way youre getting any value out of this is if someone else has a king, so bet away, a check really does nothing besides allow people to gain outs on you, its better to win a small one than lose a big one

Interesting hand.

I was thinking that checking the flop would be the play hoping that a villian would bluff at it on the turn where they will most likely fold to our raise if we decided to put one in.

I will just bet the pot if Im ever in this spot now that I have been edumacated. /images/graemlins/grin.gif
