Villain is 27/21/5 over 150 hands. We've tangled quite a bit, but this is one of the few hands that has reached the river and one of the earlier hands in my session against this opponent. No particular read except that we're both trying to take pots from each other and there's a lot of tension.

Is my line too passive? Should I have raised somewhere? And is this a super easy fold on the river? Comments on all streets appreciated.

I think I would definately have raised this flop. And if for some reason I didn't, I think I would have pushed the turn just so I wouldn't have to face this type of river decision.

Why are we raising the flop?

I would raise the flop, villain would easily and most likely be cbetting, and with those stats, it could have hit villain but not very hard. I'd fold to a reraise and if he calls we have position so we get to see what villain does on the turn. If he bets, well thats gotta mean he has a strong hand.

I like raising the flop because I think we have the best hand untill proven otherwise. I would like to protect the hand against potential draws and I don't think it warrants playing slow or passively.
