Villain has not 3bet preflop yet this session after 100 or so hands. He is 37/21 (this is 5max) and seems like a decent player.

I'd recommend just calling the reraise and using your positional advantage.

I used to do this. I lost a lot of money. I don't do this anymore because you're almost always only getting called with hands that beat you. And don't forget, 22 beats you. If you want to flip coins to earn your keep...go ahead...but sometimes they'll have AA and you'll be destroyed. If he's a decent player, he's reraising JJ-AA, nothing less. He also made a very large raise...so unless you have a tell on that...just call.

22-99 (maybe TT-QQ) fold...that FE is what is in favor of this play. I agree with bsheck though...don't do this in position as you are in better shape to call and see the flop.

just wait for a better situation to push in. you are either gaining 10 bucks or 1 out of 3 times getting busted by AA/KK

KK doesnt necessarily bust me, and where did you get 1 out of 3 from?

Plus there's getting called by QQ- and winning half the time, plus adding EV to shoving with made hands in the future...

Im gonna add this hand to this thread too rather than start another one...

Villain is AWFUL and a total calling station. About 40/15.

Just to be clear... he's an awful calling station and he's raising you here. If he's truly a calling station and he's raising you, I'd say you're in trouble. And if you are ahead, you're probably pretty vulnerable. I'd think this is a case for pot control and evaluating your hand rathar then getting more in.
