Around the time the igaming legislation was passed, I stumbled across a group called Downsize DC (http://www.downsizedc.org). I am not affiliated with them and know pretty much nothing about them, but I noticed that they are pushing for a rule that would require Congressmen to sign an affidavit stating that they have fully read and fully understand any piece of legislation on which they vote.
Today I found this story via a Google news search: When they came for poker players (http://www.freemarketnews.com/Analysis/64/6231/jim.asp?wid=64&nid=6231)
I don't know how strong this group is, but it is nice to see some support from a lobbying/political action group. Note how the poker issue is now the first item shown on their home page.
