So i wasn't even paying attention during this hand (hell, i was on the phone just going through the motions) And everything seemed very textbook till the river.

The river shove confused me, and i feel that with this play, this is either a WA/WB situation.

What's the play here?

If you raise the pot on the flop (i.e. raise to $0.9), then pot the turn ($2.1) villain's all in now becomes $3.85 into a $6.30 pot...

Well on the river, you either are ahead or are behind, so there really isn't anymore WA/WB stuff. I agree with wake up though. Against not a full stack, I am not folding this. I think you are good here about 50% of the time, which is fine for the odds he's laying you.

Make a proper raise on the flop (to about 0.9) - lots of cards kill your hand or your action, so make him pay to see them. Bet pot on turn, same reasons.

You're probably good on the river often enough to call this - you need to win 35% of the time to be neutral. KdXd makes as much sense as KJ, and more sense than a set - plus it's worth a bit to see what he's playing like this, if you don't have a good enough read on him yet to know.

Make it more on flop, turn is around finish, I think you kinda have to call the river, Wouldn't be surprised to see missed flushdraw here a large % of time - maybe with the K.

call river. you have 2pr at NL10. it will usually be good on a board like this.

Crazy enough, he turned over J4 and i took the whole pot.

Ok..so everyone is saying raise to .90...i thought the pot was .30 +.20...

I know the math includes the call + raise...can anyone tell me how to get .90 for my answer?

Just need to understand...Thanks.

Initial pot - .30 +
Lead bet - .20 +
Your call - .20 =
Pot size - .70

After your call of .20, you raise the pot of .70, giving a total bet of .90

I dont think there is much EV either way in calling or folding. If you like gambool, call, if not, fold.

+.30
+.20
+.20

Couldn't figure out where the last .20 came from, but now it makes sense.
