Hope: Banking Lobby, can we do anything?

I was listening to the podcast "Rounders" and Adam suggeted maybe there is chance for the Banking Lobbys to band together and fight against this bill.

Should we as a community attempt to get in touch with the banking lobby and tell them how we feel?

They could be losing alot of money over this.

Even though the banking lobby is a hope, I don't see anything constructive we can do in that regard. They already know about the bill, they already hate it, and they already have funding.
