I'n not going to reproduce the whole text here as most of it has been covered in these forums, however, there was one paragraph that caught my eye:

"Politicians, namely Democrats, have already started to petition for a carve-out, which aims to exclude poker from the wider definition of "gambling"."

Any truth in this?

Not that I have heard of and I think it would have been reported here first. We have some democratics say they are against it, but no one starting a carve-out.

I wouldn't put any stock into that, either. Cardplayer hasn't exactly proven itself to be a reliable up-to-date source of information on this legislation.
