The only hands he might call you with that you beat are AA and AK. He could easily have you beat here, I'd just call.

Preflop I often fold this vs. unknown.

I'll bet that flop HU quite often ( though almost never 3way) -only to see if villan is drawing and I can charge him to draw with my J allowing a free showdown or at least get some more info.

I just call the river - KJ,QJ have boats typical patsy hands to your Trips ace kicker. AT is also in his range and might call the turn.

I think shoving will only result in boats calling you or the str8 if he has it - vs an unknown it's hard to see what he's got and the fact that to get to the river was cheap.

Yeah, you can't shove this. Calling is the best play.

Pushing is not an option. It is a mistake to reraise when only better hands would call you - and I don't think you would get rid of a hand beating you either.

Just call.

I say call as well. Could he have PFR'ed w/ATs for the str8??? Or w/KJs for the FH???, slowplayed QJ???

You have AK and KQ beat... His line does not indicate KK with the check off the flop.
