Reads and thoughts....
No reads on villian. he just sat down.

my thinking is his push rnge there from an unknown seems like it would b pretty narrow and this is one of the situations that a fold is best without a read. n e arguments for a call here?

I agree with a fold. This is a set a lot of the time and you're only getting 3:2, so you can get away from it.

Without a read, I'm folding. If villian is a true push monkey you'll get the money soon enough.

Looks like a set to me. Lay it down without any reads.

Yep, good laydown. He hit his set of 7's or 8's. Too bad a Q didn't fall on the flop...

I like your fold. AA I probably call too, though I'd like it more if the flop was a little drawier.

I honestley don't see the diff between AA and QQ here. I think this is a set, I prob fold AA here as well.

No. He was flat-called out of the SB...

Good fold.

Villan called a raise in SB then 1/2pot bet into the pfr got raised then he reraised AI - he says I have you beat.

The pot is small - villan is making massive overbets and your not sure where you stand so FOLD and protect your stack for future battles.

If villan had open pushed the flop then it would be a more tricky call as he's more likely to be bluffing(although still a fold for me without reads).

Grunch

This gets mucked by me against anything but a complete moron.
Sitting down at your table might indicate such tendecies but I am not convinced quite yet. Fold.

u dont think being ahead of a few more hands here makes up enough EV for this to be a call? i thought it was semi close here but when u add a few more hands i beat i figured it would swing this towards a call.

villian could have KK or QQ (if i had AA) and tryin to b sorta deceptive preflop so i think AA or KK could b a small part of his range

Unless villain is known to be bad, this is an easy muck. Your raise pretty much tells villain have top pair destroyed and he doesn't care.

If a uNL villain is capable of a 3-bet push bluff here then I say good hand.

EZ muck here. If this were $10 NL or lower, a call here is probably +EV vs. an unknown, although laden with variance.
