$1-2 No-Limit Cash Game at Vegas Casino
(i'm new to this forum, so please excuse my ignorance of some of the abbreviations; i don't even know if i'm posting in the right category)

Hero is on the button with AcKd.
Villain is tight straight-forward player. The rest of the table is loose-average. hero has stack size of 250, villain has me covered.

preflop:
--villain raises from utg+1 to 15. this is a slightly larger than normal raise, but not by much (table raise size is anywhere from 10-20 preflop). she gets two immediate callers, both of whom are loose players.
--i call
--SB folds, BB calls the raise, making the pot = 76

flop: As Jd 9s
--villain bets out 120
--the two callers fold.
--i debate for some time, then re-raise all-in.
--she calls.

--final board: A J 9 J 8, no flush possible.
--villain shows AhAd, a full boat.

did i commit the terrible error of going broke with one pair? i didn't think that she would raise from utg with AJ, and villain's overbet seemed to be directed against any possible flush draws. a clear mis-read?

Are you posting this because you lost or because you didnt know what to do? If villain showed AQo do you post this. On the surface I see a bad beat post here. This just seems like you lost to a better hand as as such is a BBV post, so lock city.
