HELP!

******* Hand 1 ********

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.10/$0.25
6 players
Converter (http://www.neildewhurst.com/hand-converter)

Stacks:
Hero- $30.50
Villain - $24.75
Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif
UTG raises to $1.25, Hero calls, CO folds, Button calls, 2 folds.

Flop: 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 2/images/graemlins/club.gif ($4.1, 3 players)
UTG bets $3, Hero calls, Button folds.

Turn: A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif ($10.1, 2 players)
UTG checks, Hero???

I obviously can't fold the flop with my overpair since there is a strong chance the preflop raiser has 2 overs, or specifically AK.

Once the Ace hits on the turn and he checks to me I freeze.

Should I bet hoping he'll fold TT-KK, or should I check behind and say "I don't have an ace". Could his check mean he does in fact have an ace and just wants to get to showdown?

You can either bet here and not put another cent in or you can check and call a smallish river bet. Either work I think.

i don't understand why you would bet? c/f or call if it is half pot or less on river.

I guess it depends, does the guy fold to boards like this? Or does he go to the end with top pair? Given no reads I would check it down with a guy so tight.

what can you beat on the river in order to call that bet?

Ace is a scare card. I would bet to make better hands fold such as TT-KK.

Looking back at it, I really should have bet since the ace is also a diamond and I've represented a flush draw on the flop.

I wouldn't give him enough credit to put you on the flush draw.

I check behind and maybe call a small river bet.

Question: What do you all do on the turn if you are villain in this hand (and have KK-TT)
