hero has 80BB stack, villians have him covered

hero is UTG with KK

PF - hero raises to $1, 3 callers, blinds fold.

FLOP (pot is $3.30) is K /images/graemlins/heart.gif,8 /images/graemlins/club.gif,3 /images/graemlins/club.gif
-hero bets $2

I bet $3 because there's a ton of callers. If one of them calls, another with a flush draw will get very nice odds to continue.

First of all, I think you got the potsize wrong. Use a converter /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'd bet close to pot on the flop. Draws are going nowhere, charge them and get value for your hand.

mmm, wrong potsize or a 20% rake /images/graemlins/laugh.gif. Posting guidelines has links to converters. Preflop is good but pot the flop.

Preflop is fine if 5x is your standard opening raise at this table (blinds are 0.10 and 0.20?).

Pot it on the flop. With 3 opponents, at least one is calling and a flush draw is likely.

Nothing wrong with the pot size with .10/.20 blinds.

Yes, there is. Pot should be 4.30.

Anyway bet 4 dollars on the flop..

hero raises to $1 +3 callers = $4. So it's wrong or the rake isn't beatable /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Agreed with the wrong potsize and a bigger flopbet.

Why did you post this hand?

*grunch*

bet close to pot. there is a possible flush draw out there and too many villains in the hand. we need to lead out so we will be able to lead out with whiffed hands in the future and in the future we want maximum FE which is why we bet close to pot. if we bet weak with made hands and strong with whiffed ones some villains may pick up on it.

anyways yeah like i said before closer to pot. id go about 3$ here

yeah, i did screw up the math, sorry about that. it should have said 4.30. as for why i posted this, it was to hear exactly what everyone is commenting on, if my bet sizes were roughly appropriate. problem is, i've been playing these loose, weak tables where i keep picking up sall pots over and over again, and am making decent profits (for a beginner) doing so, but feel like i'm never able to get value for my bigger hands. i've been raising lots more PF and getting people to fold over and over again post flop, but is seems that no matter how much i bet and raise, they still respect my raises too much. which is fine by me with my small hands, but i'd love to win a big pot every once and a while. i just dont know if i'm doing something really wrong or if that's just the nature of the game with opponents who are so weak. in any case, thanks for all the responses and sorry about themath mix up- guess it's time for me to use a converter...
