I've recently moved from 20NL on Prima (which I did well at) to 25NL on FTP since bet365 closed down, and I'm getting pretty much steamrolled by half the players there. It seems that there are multi-tabling TAGs and over-aggressive shortstacks populating the tables there and I don't have an edge on most players. I would consider moving back down to NL10 for the time being but I've heard that the rake at that level is notoriously bad on FTP. What kind of difference is there in the player quality and rake on Stars 25NL?

It doesn't matter.

I've run into the same problem at FT so i might be able to help.

Firstly, the rake at the $10nl is indeed terrible and if your bankroll isn't big enough for $25nl then shortstack it for a while.

Multitabling tags have leaks like everyone else. Go and find out what they are.

I have played the Prima 20NL 6 max as well. The players there are much weaker than 6max players at most other sites I have played.

On FT and Stars I find it easier to win at the Full Ring tables. (On Prima I found it easier to win shorthanded as the full ring was so tight).

You must learn to adapt. When I first moved to FTP a couple months ago I noticed a difference to but the games are definately beatable. Also I noticed the games get a lot easier after 6:00pm est.
