N00bs and rubes, NL is a game where we can be playing for stacks on any given hand. You should find within this thread various methods of getting your stack in the middle. Open to all, post your awesomeness here. Enjoy!

Requirements for posting hands in this thread:

1. Hero believes he played the hand well.
2. HERO MUST WIN AT LEAST 80 bb's.
3. Post only converted hands and remember to post results.
4. It's also very nice of you if you can take the results out of white, so we don't have to highlight to see them.
5. If it's not obvious why you played the hand the way you did, give a quick reasoning.

So, if you play a hand that qualifies over the weekend, post it here and share the joy. Weekend starts now and runs through Sunday night.

Lets have some of the vets show the uNL noobs how its done, and have the n00bs make us proud.

Let us gogogogogo!

-----

Minraising for fun and profit. Woot. The minraises were a meta decision based on the few previous orbits at the table. I raised his CB's twice in a row, the last time with air and a minraise, and he folded both times. So, I hoped he'd take a stand here with a wide variety of hands.

I got involved in a very donkish FR 25NL game last night on WPEX (no converter) - there was mucho macho posturing, and frequent open pushing preflop with cheese.

I'd post the hand where a donk pushed As6s in MP2 for 100BB preflop after several limpers, and I instacalled with KK in the cutoff, but that'd just be sick.

Boring poker, but insanely profitable.

Won over 100BB - did I play it well? Well, I played it better than villian did. LOL.

WPEX 25NL full ring (no converter).

Villian is very bad, I have a maniac table image (I have been very aggressive with position and mercilessly c-betting this very passive table).

Effective stacks >100BB

Hero is SB with A/images/graemlins/spade.gif A/images/graemlins/club.gif

Villian is UTG+1 posts $.25 (he's just returning after getting stacked in a previous hand).

1 fold, UTG+1 checks, 5 folds, Hero raises to $1.25, BB folds, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif J/images/graemlins/heart.gif 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

Hero checks, UTG+1 bets .25, Hero raises to $2.00, UTG+1 raises to $3.75, Hero raises to $5.50, UTG+1 raises to $7.25, Hero shoves, UTG+1 calls $16.50.

Ordinarily, I would almost never min-reraise, however, I have a solid read on this villian, and I know he will stack off with TPTK (or worse). He's not reraising me with a draw, and he open pushes any hand that beats me. Yes, he's that bad.

Yeah, wasn't runnin' very well at the table with EMc to my left. Overplayed AJ on Axx board to lose my getting stacked cherry at FT. 2k+ hands, not bad. I never used to lose with AJ at Party. It's my signature hand. Will have to email FT about that.

Because I was running bad, thought EMc would pay me off with a slightly wider variety here than KK:

Okay, technically, this hand belongs in SSNL, but in my heart I'm a uNLer, so here it goes...

Just to point out, I won't typically limp behind with a hand like that, but every once in a while, I'll just join the lolimpaments to mix things up and get lucky...

Villian is pathetic and calls anything preflop 70/15. I luckily moved to his right. This call with AA was made b/c of the way he played his hand this time. In the 2nd hand you'll see that he check/raised me when he flopped two pair (and yes, he called 13.50 preflop with K2 suited). In this hand he keeps the balls to the wall, so I figured he had a 10.

SAME VILLIAN earlier in the sessionAGAIN It's my own fault for not realizing I didn't have a full stack.

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with A♣ A♦
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, CO raises to $1.5, 2 folds, Hero raises to $7.5, UTG+1 folds, CO raises all-in $95.9, Hero calls all-in $34.2.
Uncalled bets: $54.2 returned to CO.

This is what happens when I tilt...... Raising Q10 suited UTG and then call a reraise from an unknown?? OMG I can't believe I did this, but the C/R and the results are sexy.

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with Q♠ T♠

I called the raise cause he stacks off with one pair... a lot. The turn bet is weak, cause I want to make sure he's gonna stay in this hand and I think he reads small bets as weakness. Overall I think I played this hand tuned to the villians tendencies, but there was probably a better line.

HAHA, funniest thing I've read in a while.....nobody in their right mind would check/call that river bet. Oh wait, that whole hand is horrible.....

I don't like it when people slowroll me with JJ+ unless this happens and they refuse to fold it.

I was almost positive he had some 9. I was pretty amused when he flipped JJ.
