Skywatcher Alert

Don't Miss the Orionid Meteor Shower
The Orionid meteor shower will peak before dawn Oct. 20-24, producing about 20 meteors per hour. To view them, find a dark spot with an open view of the sky. Watch in whatever direction the sky is darkest since artificial light will diminish visibility of these faint meteors.

You really think I'm going to go out and freeze my posterior off to see some friggin' meteors? That's what I like about the Perseids. They have the decency to show up in August, when I can go out at night and have reasonable temperatures to deal with. screw the Orionids and Leonids.
