You know, I have been thinking, I hate money too. I am going to start folding here all the time. 25NL players ALWAYS have AA here, they never have QQ, JJ, TT, 99, 88, A3, KJ, KQ, AK, AQ, AJ, AT, and so on, and so on, and so on.

Look at his numbers. He 3-bets from UTG with all those hands?

After 40 hands? Hell, who knows? I can sure as hell tell you that you don't have nearly enough information to know that he only does this with AA.

Edit: Guy at my table yesterday was running 8/1 over 50 hands and then, after 200, turned into a 25/18.

with such an unreliable read (40 hands) that is one hell of an atrocious fold /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

This to me is a horrible fold. How often are you up against aces here? Not often enough to fold imo. There is 7.75 in the pot and it is 3.75 to call. The pot is laying you 2-1. Yes he's been playing fairly tight, but not super tight that he must have aces to 3bet you 4 handed. Keep in mind too that 40hands is a rough sample. He could have been card dead.

The biggest reason in my opinion to call here is his showdown stats. Gone to showdown 5 times in 40 hands and lost each one. He starts off with only $10 at the beginning of this hand. Chances are he has been taking a beating and is now on tilt? Really looks like he wants to get you to throw your hand away. I say push given what I know about the current situation. Any other reads or betting patterns you've picked up here? He's showndown 5 losers recently. What has he been mucking up until this point?

I /images/graemlins/heart.gif you guys. Here's what really happened:

Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is SB with K/images/graemlins/club.gif K/images/graemlins/heart.gif
<font color="#cc0000">UTG raises to $0.75</font>, Button folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $2</font>, BB folds, <font color="#cc0000">UTG raises to $5.75</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises all-in $34.45</font>, <font color="#cc0000">UTG calls all-in $20.15</font>.
Uncalled bets: $8.55 returned to Hero.

Flop: 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif T/images/graemlins/club.gif 4/images/graemlins/club.gif ($26.4, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $52.05)

Turn: 9/images/graemlins/club.gif ($26.4, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $52.05)

River: 5/images/graemlins/club.gif ($26.4, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $52.05)

We haven't had a good fold KK preflop thread in uNL, have we? FYI, they usually get locked right away because most of the time they are pretty useless. Basically, for one buy-in, don't fold it. Circumstances and reads would have to be specific and solid to fold KK for MORE than a buy-in.

So, OP, what I'm saying is, I threw up in my mouth a little bit. Now you know.

Thanks for the leeway. I've been playing poker a long time but relatively new to nl. Believe me I've laughed at many a person who tried to explain folding KK. I just haven't seen many 3-bets pf in my short NL history so far so I didn't know how wary I should have been.

Maybe it is just my image, but 3bets preflop seem to follow me around, bet it 25nl or 50nl. My goal becomes trying to figure out who is responding to my play and who is responding to his own cards.
