would you have called the raise to .96 cents? why/why not?

i know i limped in, my action was because of my table position. was this correct as well or would you raise this type of hand regardless of position?

i know im posting a lot of these, im trying to patch up my game as i have lost a lot of money last month being a newb, would like to make up for it. /images/graemlins/cool.gif will post the results once i get a few replies.

Make a pot-sized raise on the flop and be happy to get it all in.

fold preflop ...raise more on the flop ,,,the (allin)call is fine on the flop..

why would you have folded preflop? yes position was terrible, but it seems like a decent hand to me, especially with just a bunch of limp ins on what seemed like a loose/aggressive/?? table.

Two suited paint cards look a lot better than they are, if you've been loosing recently then the best way to improve is to tighten up considerably pf. Play less than 20% of the hands you recieve and play a lot tighter in early position.

Folding this pf is fine, just because of your position. Drawing hands like this play much better in late position.

The flop is lovely TP and the flush draw is a strong hand, DON'T MINIRAISE, If you want to raise do it properly, pot sized raise here is ~0.42c.

When it comes back to you your odds are about 2:1, and you probably have tons of outs definitely call.

i will go ahead and post the results in case anyone is on the edge of their seat to see em. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

BB has 7s 2h (two pair, sevens and twos).
Hero has Tc Kc (flush, king high).
MP2 has 9c Jc (flush, jack high).
Outcome: Hero wins $2.42.

on a side note, the 2.50 that i was ahead after a few hours was sucked out at one nasty table full of money stealers. now im down .36 cents for they day, no better than when i started. all that headway down the drain./images/graemlins/frown.gif lost the 9-K straight to a 10-A straight, and had one guy go all in 3-4 times in a row so i called him with a pair of 9's. he flopped two pair AK and i was out. those would have been beautiful pots to add to my collection too. such a shame.

Fold preflop. If you're not going to fold, you simply must raise. But you shouldn't raise. KTs sucks OOP. It's just not a good hand at all.

Flop: Leave the minraising to the fish. Make a real raise. Never forget you're still OOP. Regardless even if you were on the button & closing the action, minraising is sucky & horrible.

I have been learning how to change my game up recently so pre-flop I would have either folded, or opened with a raise (even a min raise).

On the flop definitely make a much bigger raise.
