50NL 6 max
Hero in BB with Q /images/graemlins/club.gif7 /images/graemlins/club.gif
Reads - villain relatively unknown, but HUD tells me hes reasonable preflop 26/8
Button is a poor LPP.
Preflop:
Folds to UTG+1 (Villain) calls, Button calls, SB completes, I check.
Flop:
5 /images/graemlins/club.gif2 /images/graemlins/club.gifT /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
SB Checks, Hero bets $1.50, Villain Calls, Button Calls, SB folds
Turn J /images/graemlins/club.gif
Hero bets $6.50, Villain calls, Button folds
River A /images/graemlins/spade.gif
Hero bets $15, Villain minraise to $30, Hero?!??!?!?!?!
What to do on river?
Is flop a check for me instead?
Thanks!

Gravy,
Theoretically, how big of a raise before I fold, vs a relative unknown?
Thanks

if you are 100BB deep, just put your last 12 bucks in. He has a lower flush here a lot. Sometimes aces up, and sometimes got you beat, but I think calling here is leaving money on the table.

Definitely shove with these stacks.
I might flat-call with 150BB+ stacks.

Yes 100BB stacks... I forgot aces up I was so focused on the flush... now I agree it should have been a push, ignoring actual results.

You got beat this time but I'm looking to get my stack in every time here. Villain has a set, aces up or even KQ here often enough.

I don't think we see KQ here as he would have had to call 2 streets with overcards...

well, I'm glad orange said push... because it means that he thinks that we have 51%+ equity here, which is good.
But, we have to consider stack sizes before we push, I think. There has to be some stack size at which we would prefer calling to pushing, right?
I just don't know what that stack size is, theoretically...
