How would you play a set on a board that doesnt really scare you. Lead out? Check/raise. Check/call?

...depends on your image too. If you've been raising and c-betting often enough, then suddenly you raise preflop and check the flop, to someone who might be paying attention, it could look strong. If you've got a lot of calling stations, bet out. If you've got rocks at the table, maybe let one card come off as long as there's no possible flush/straight draws on the flop (ex: Having 8s on a K83 rainbow board). You want to get money in the pot though, without letting a scare card come out for cheap. HH's along with villain stats would help. It's very situational.

As was said above, your OP is vague and way too broad and basically unanswerable. Please post specific hands are ask questions in threads involving trips, there's at least one of the front page now.
