Villian was a decent TAG. Maybe 2p2, none the less he's noticed my little plan to keep stealing blinds, and this is the third raise i've had to deal with in the last dozen orbits. Is this a good way to stop this? Or is this a little crazy?

I think if he's repopping you a lot, there are a couple of things you can do:

1) Steal less. This is probably best.

2) 4-bet him occasionally.

In this spot, if you want to fight back, I would tend to prefer the 4-bet to goofing around postflop. The move you took required him to stick a lot of money in there first, and reduces the chances of him folding by quite a bit.

You can probably steal less as your opponents (thinking ones) are marking you as a stealer/lag which could help you get paid off when you hit.

For the hand, I think fold preflop because his preflop reraise cut your implied odds for a hand like 7s6s. Plus you say he is decent TAG so hes even less likely to stack off if you hit.

Postflop, I'm ok with your play. Flop could be standard C-bet but you don't want to raise AK out.

Turn you have a ton of outs, so its ok to pull that stunt IMO.

But don't overdo this kind of stuff.

what sux is that you folded out a worse hand.

Call turn and check/call most rivers if UI? (barring an A or broadway, depending on villain's bet size?)

The $10 turn bet is fairly weak tho....

I dont like it. Hes got to call 20 into 70, hes not folding often.

Shove the flop.

There's every chance you have the best hand and you have a ton of outs if you are behind - and you *might* even fold out TT/JJ. Nice hand. The only slightly cazy thing about this is the call PF.

So you're basically asking if this is a good time to float. I don't think so, because you aren't deep enough. If you had cut your post off at the point where you raised and didn't show that he folded, you would have gotten the right replies: he's getting 7.5:2 on a call. You have very little fold equity. Bad float, even though it worked out for you here. I know it's technically a semibluff, but I'll bet you were planning on this no matter what came.
