Stats on the guy are 11/3/5 over only 25 hands, no reads. The check flop anhd then later action screamed A to me, but the question was one of kicker. I think given his late position min-raise he could be sitting on any kicker. Thoughts?

The only thing your beating is AJ/AT/JJ and air. I just don't see how you can call this profitably. AK/AQ/QQ/KK/99 are strong possible holdings. Hell, even A9 beats you. Although 25 hands really dont tell us for sure.

There's no chance he is floating Ax here? Obviously AK/AJ/A9 were all problem hands, but I gave that a strong possibility given the weakness of the late position raise preflop, which could easily be a steal attempt with garbage.

The only other hand listed I put him on was possibly 99, but I would think he would raise harder on the turn hoping I had an ace.

Of course there is. His stats over 25 hands isn't a lot but it's still an indicator leaning towards him not being on a naked A. 10/J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif is even a possible holding that beats us. Basically, anyone doing this without a boat or a better flush is a total moran and we just don't have that read yet.
