sorry, a little clueless.

i'm planning on depositing the full $600 at FT. the rules for the bonus are below (also at http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/depositBonusDetails.php )

100% Deposit Bonus
Get a 100% Deposit Bonus Just For Signing Up - Up to $600

Full Tilt Poker is pleased to continue offering deposit bonuses to new players. New sign-ups will receive a 100% matching bonus up to $600 on your initial deposit to Full Tilt Poker.
Here's how!

For each dollar raked from a pot, every player who was dealt cards for that hand will earn one point. You can earn partial points if less than one dollar is raked, and you can earn up to three points per hand.

Each point is worth $.06, so you can earn up to $18 per hundred hands.

how long do you reckon this will take playing 3 tables of 0.25/0.50C ?

Also can i get rakeback whilst clearing this bonus.
Any help appreciated. as i said, total newb re. internet bonuses (yes, i know) but thought i shouldn't let this one pass.

You should most definitley get RB. Bonus deduct from MGR, but you'll still bet some rakeback will clearing the bonus. .25/.50 Limit will take a long time. If you meant NL50, not so bad but still slow. Bonus releses in $20 chucks so don't worry about bitting off more than you can play.

yes, u can get RB by signing up with various affilates...if u check bonuswhores.com, u can see what the hourly rate is for FTP at ur lvl...it's around 15K hands at 1/2 i THINK (10-15??)...either way, u will need a good amount of time to clear this bonus...so while ur at it, get RB, but remember to sign up with the affilate before u can create the FTP account...

At full ring bonus + rakeback amounts to about 70% of your rake returned. At six max it's about 53% I think.

You have four months to clear the signup and I think you can do that at .25/.50 but it won't be quick.

NL or limit? If it's NL, 40,000 hands. Limit, probably your lifetime.

I four table .50/1 for about 2/3 hours every night and I estimate I will only clear $320 in 6mo's. You will probably not clear even $20 at .25/50. This is the slowest freaking bonus that I have ever done. I have 2K hands and just cleared $20. thats $1/100 hands.

You get seven points per dollar in tourney fees and each point is worth six cents so........

100 in tourney fees = 100 MGR = 700 points = 42 dollars.

MGR - bonus = (100-42) = 58
27% of that = (58*.27) = 15.66
Adding them together gets you 57.66 of your 100 back.

Did I do that right?

I was assuming no limit but I probably shouldn't.

Also, while six max looks like it gives you less you're actually getting more plus you get more hands per hour.

To illustrate the less being more thing imagine a pot that is raked $2.70

On a six max table everyone gets 2.7 points and .45 in MGR.
On a nine handed table it's 2.7 points and .30 in MGR.

2.7 points is worth 16.2 cents.

For six max, 45 cents less 16.2 cents, take 27% then add back the 16.2 cents...it comes out to 23.976 cents.

Do the same thing for nine max and it comes out to 19.926 cents.

I think I did that right, someone correct me if I didn't.
