Has anyone tried to make a new player deposit here since Ongames announcement?

I was able to open an account and make a deposit. However, I was unable to transfer the money from the cashier into the poker room.

So, on the advice of a helpful support person at FCP, I requested they close my account (which was blocked from transfers into the poker room and which was never used in any way) and open a new one.

Sure enough, I was able to deposit and transfer money into the poker room with the new account. Signup and reload bonus show up as pending, just as they should. So I've got 1k in bonuses at FCP to work through this month! :-)

They are changing networks btw.

I'm aware of that. I'm going to clear as much as I can before they switch happens -- I've always found the ongame NL games to be filled with fairly weak players.

....weak players, and HIGH rake.

Out of interest, which network are they transferring to?

Not known yet, but really there are not that many choices of Networks that accept Americans now (Prima, Tribeca, and Absolute).

My hope is that they go with Absolute, then FCP, ABS and UB all form a good site and then they will be part of the top 3 with PS and FT.

According to my PT stats, an ongame 11X bonus is equivalent to 100% rakeback for my style of play. So hitting FCP for $1000 at 9X is good.

Now if their software just wasn't so damn bloated as to cause my virtual Windows box to crawl when I've got >4 games going... That would be paradise....
