Oh my, a post not about the new legislation /images/graemlins/tongue.gif
When trying to register with Bodog I got "Due to jurisdictional legalities, we are unable to permit residents of Canada to open an account at this time." That's a new one. Anyone know what their deal is?

Bodog does not accept Canadians. This is an old and well-known fact.
Oversimplified answer: Infamous founder/owner Calvin Ayre is originally from Canada but Bodog cannot legally operate in Canada. I don't know your gambling laws or what the problem is.
Canadians caught sneaking into Bodog have had their deposits returned with all wins and losses cancelled.

This is the correct forum to discuss Canadian regulation. This forum was not created last week solely to discuss the UIGEA.
