First off, which do you guys recommend hiring for tax purposes?

I am currently looking for one and have no idea what set of questions to ask them? What questions would you ask a CPA accountant/taw lawyer when trying to look for one that knows something about gambling taxes?

Look for an Enrolled Agent, someone with an EA after their name.

Ask them if they have any experience preparing taxes for professional gamblers.

If they say no, call another one. If they say "yes, but I'd prefer not to do it" tell them to go screw themselves and get off their moral high horse.

Funny. Our family CPA told me just that!

Anyone know a good CPA that specialized in gambling in South Florida?

Thanks Ron Burgundy. Should I use yellow pages?

If I recall correctly, my first question was, "What do you know about gambling taxes..."
