The company said the sale saved it $14 million in costs it would have had to pay to close the operations. The businesses have a total 500 employees.

Sportingbet said it will keep its European sports, casino and poker businesses, Australian sports business and the non-U.S. business of Paradise Poker.

Andrew McIver, Sportingbet's chief executive designate, said in a statement that the company was "saddened to have to dispose of such a fantastic business as a result of political actions in the U.S. Congress."

The conditions on the plane ticket said limited to certain Canadian and American cities. Worst case scenario the plane ticket sucks and you can't use it, it is still a $100 bonus and a freeroll for a $12000 spot in the Aussie Millions.

The catch most likely will be that Paradise buys the ticket ($100-$150 on sale) but we have to pay the taxes ($150-$250)

Still I would use it to hit Vegas on a Friday nite for a 24hour pigout/donkfest

I didn't recieve an email but just deposited $200 and got the bonus. So I think it's not account specific.

I'm Canadian. I got the 100% up to $200 bonus plus flight and Down Under private tourney offer.

I used it to the max and quickly won over $1000 in tournaments. In the past with Paradise bonuses I have deposited just to get the bonus and then quickly withdrew without playing there at all until I had worked off time-limited bonuses elsewhere. I didn't lose the bonus. I would like to remove a good chunk of money out of there for "safety" reasons but I don't want to risk losing the bonus and flight and freeroll. Would you recommend I withdraw no more than I have profited since making the deposit, or should I wait until after the deposit period is over on Monday afternoon, or wait until the October 20th email, or do you think I could withdraw as much as I want whenever I want without worry of having the bonus taken and perks taken back?
