The law has been signed and they're apparently dealing hands. But no announcement of any kind?

Ongame is Outgame.

Yeah, apparently BWIN is pulling the plug on the network for US players. That will mean PokerRoom, Hollywood, etc. are all going away.

My guess would be that they haven't had time to prepare a response. Give them a bit.

It's also possible that they're planning on switching networks.

Yeah, could be, but so far I haven't heard anything from PokerRoom, Hollywood, or Hold'em Poker either, and I have accounts at all three. I think the whole OnGame network may have been caught by surprise. Just guessing--no inside sources--but the lack of a statement from any of the skins supports that theory.

at least party gave a heads up that they were leaving, i think this is sorta shady. also, what netwrok would the skins switch to? prima? that doesnt sound so great either.

This blows so very very royally.

The company is working on technical arrangements that will prevent existing customers from accessing its real money games.

I wish they'd give us a damn date so I know whether I should continue attempting to hastily complete the bonus I'm working on. If they just hang on another day or two I might make it.

EDIT: Somebody should change this thread's title.

You and me both. I've made more from bonus whoring than I have from my play. I'm a winning .5/1 and 1/2 player (around 1.7 BB/100), but the bonus are more lucrative than that....

OnGame Poker Classic is dead, huh? Nice way to evade putting up the guarantee overlay. Damn, I wanted to go to Barcelona.

I spoke earnestly with support. He told me that in theory the ban is effective immediately. Their system is going through players one by one and will take away real money priveleges from all u.s. customers but it may take hours/days to complete this process.

I've elected to abandon my bonuses and cash out.

I'm going to keep playing and hope for the best - if they kick me off they kick me off, but I really doubt they'll keep me from cashing out. I'd sure like to clear this $500 bonus.

Just occured to me that I won't get to use these points for tournament tickets. Time for some last-minute shopping! Whiskey decanter time!

It would help if their points system were updating properly. I played last night and I have no clue if I have cleared the bonus or not. I've decided to keep playing until I'm booted to try to make sure that I cleared the bonus.

I play on PR because I travel with a locked down corporate XP laptop and the java client is the only thing I can play on. It's still up and running for me now. Based on their history, it could take PR a year to get the fix figured out too. Guess I'll be getting to bed earlier while I'm on the road now, at least.

Sounds like you are successful enough to purchase your own laptop.
