Apparently Sportingbet PLC sold aces.com so that they could still allow US players. I wonder if they'll do that for any other of their holdings.

The bonus is 10% up to $500, sportsbook only. I asked live support if it's good in the casino, they said no. Wager requirement is 2.2x deposit amount. Good until sunday.

There's also some lame gifts:

$250 deposit - T-Shirt, Hat or Visor
$500 - Professional Poker Chip Set
$1000 - Poker Table
$2500 or more - All of the above

Edit: They also have a "juiceless game of the week" which is:

10/14/06 16:00 ET

#401 U.L. Monroe +9

#402 Troy -9

Might be some hedging oppurtunities.

I think I saw another thread stating that they sold off another property of theirs as well. Too bad Im banned from all their sites.

that 2.2 wr isn't very good is it?? for a $50 bonus you must wager $1100. most books are better than this correct. i'm new to sportsbooks and got the email as well from them and was just wondering if this is the standard WR out there

Most sportsbook bonuses in my experience are 3-5x, and sometimes that's D+B.

Didnt this group confiscate LIFETIME winnings from a bunch of players? I whored them for a while, then got the hell away.

What exactly does "confiscating lifetime winnings" mean? I don't know anything about it. I've been whoring Aces.com for over a year, and have made a few thousand off them. Cashouts are always within 2 days and customer service is usually helpful.

Yes. People deemed to be "bonus abusers" has account balances confiscated. The justification given for this confiscation was that the account holders were bonus abusers and sportingbet was just recouping the money the abusers "took" from them.

Sportingbet did sell this site effective this morning. However, the sale was competed very quickly, so I suspect a lot of the same people will be involved with Aces post sale.

IMHO, this group is still a very risky place to put your money.

Here is a link to a special rpeort SBR put together regarding this group.

nice hogua,

i wondered why they were so low on the SBR grade. i had been with their group for a while and always cashed out fine but that was before i got into bonuses.

Do not bother with this shady operation. I deposited and got the min bonus and wagered at least 100x my 100 dollar bonus.

I hammered them fair and square betting all of my own plays usually a min or two before the games were to start. Then after i beat them like a red headed stepchild they decide they do not want to pay. They eventually paid in full but it took a week. There are tons of sportsbooks out there where you can get a decent bonus and have no worries about getting paid if you actually win.
