I just got this in my e-mail:

Through this exclusive email offer, Doyle's Room is offering you a 110% Super signup bonus, Up to $550 Free!
Also, if you deposit $500 or more to start your account off, you will get a $550 bonus and a
Deluxe Leatherbound Super System 1 and 2 double book set.
A $300 value not available in any store, and it's yours free!

Isn't this worth doing just for the free book set?

Anybody else get this?

I searched and didn't find anything on this.

Can you still get backrake and still do this bonus? bonus is not deducted from MGR their. Look hard for backrake deals.

I have no other details, I was just looking at the email.

This is the standard signup bonus, and yes, you can get that which shall not be spoken of.

this bonus is legit. took a while to clear but still decent. Plus the bonus wasn't deducted from the extra 'backrake' you speak of.

Yeah i see it now..hmmm...I stopped playing poker, but I'm wondering if it's worth doing just for the books.

What kind of stakes would I have to play to clear it faster? I will be playing either NL Cash or NL SNGs/MTTs. Assume NL for all games.

Minimum $.50/$1 at least. Probably $1/2 would be best. May take more than a month at $.25/.50.

This looks like the same deal I've got. I confirmed multiple times with support there's no time limit to the amount of time you have to work through the bonus (300 action points = $1 cleared). It appears that 1 action point is 1c of rake, pro-rated by pot contribution, or 1c of tourney fees.

Doyle's seems to have lots of cash NL games. I'd be inclined to stick to them for bonus clearing, unless you feel like paying $1,500 in tourney fees. If you don't want such a large bonus (or the books), then they have some smaller bonuses which from memory provided a better rate of return (less action points per dollar cleared).

I haven't completed the bonus requirements, so take everything I say with a grain of salt. Yes, I'm getting garden implements handed back.

Hmm... PM me about said unmentionable, expecially if I can still get Super System in the deal. I'll be moving some of my roll to a new room as my UB bonus is almost cleared.

Just be careful about how long it will take to clear this bonus. There are two sets of bonus codes, one of which requires you to obtain 200 Action Points per bonus dollar, and one that requires 300. 165,000 Action Points is going to be a loooooong time coming.

I got 110,000 in about 23,000 hands of FL from 1/2 to 4/8 and NL from $.50/$1 to $1/$2. And some Badugi, but I'd rather forget that ever happened.

On the plus side, their Action Points store has some crazy stuff. You can get a full size Naginata, about a dozen different swords, and just generally things I would consider "neat stuff." They almost had me on Zatoichi's cane sword, but it doesn't look anything like it's supposed to.

Clearing this bonus at .25/.50 NL took me about 2 1/2 months, playing 4 tables, to get the full $550. (which is I believe 165,000 action points)

Slightly off topic - Sorry

I signed up for Doyle's a few days ago and deposited. There was a spot to check if you wanted a bonus. I filled that in.

Where does the bonus and your progress show up in the software? There is nothing in the cashier.

Talk to a manager (live chat). Tribeca bonuses never show up in the software.
