It's depressing seeing all the bonuses I am no longer eligible for.

This is a good idea, although things need to clarify themselves first.

Wait until a week after the bill is signed and then bring this up in the "About the Forums" forum.

Forum sponsorship is an issue too, since this is a sponsored forum.

IMHO I don't think it will work, since there is too much stuff that is neither US or non-US, or is at least hard to categorize. Where would "general bonus rambling" (say, questions about calculating the EV of casino bonuses) go? I think we would see a lot of threads that are in the wrong side, and a lot of postings complaining about threads being in the wrong side (=noise).

I just don't think it will work well enough for the benefits to offset the confusion that is caused by the division. It is of course also a personal preference for me, I am euro and I would like to be able to read one forum instead of two.

I am all for tagging threads about specific bonuses with, for example, "(NOT US)" tags, like (NSFW) in OOT.

I second jimpos require all bonus postings to be NOT US or US OK and it will be fine.

To much work to view two different forums....

It should be required then to post a cliff-note at the bottom of the first post (non-us) ect.

Jeez Want us to play out the WR for you as well!

I'm not in the US, I couldn't care less if a bonus was availible to a US player or not! and if I post up a bonus I find I'm not going to waste my time scouring the T&C to see if you guys can play it or not when that info is irrelevant to me.

I know you guys are going through a crappy time right now, but the world doesn't revolve around the US!

Many bonuses are not availible to various nationalities are we going to do this for every country out there or is it just you whinging yanks that as usual want special treatment and spoon feeding?

Subject lines could get seriously long if we go with this

"fubar casino - $100 Bonus NO US Sweeden OK No China UK OK no Denmark" etc etc etc

Hey how about you US whores also post up a list of the groups you've been bonus banned at, then we could send you all individual PMs when we find a bonus you might be able to do!!

The guys that post up +EV bonuses are doing us all a big favour! don't put them off by making them jump through hoops and do your leg work for you!

This strikes me a considerably lower priority than separating casino and poker bonus threads.

Isn't it (once each site makes up its mind) going to be pretty straightforward to tell from the site/network if it is a US or non-US bonus?

if there wasnt a need to keep casino v poker bonuses separate then I see no need to do a split now. word.

Yanks invented the internet. Yanks put up this site. I would guess the majority of people that use this site are yanks. If the site doesn't accomodate us, then we will drift away to sites that do.

All we need are a sticky "USA bonuses", the rest we know the UK can do whilst surfing our HTTP sites. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

If people posting bonuses would include "No US" in the subject for bonuses that can't be done by people in the US, the problem would be solved without yet another forum.

BTW, is it really that hard to read posts about bonuses you can't do? How f'ing lazy are you?

And don't forget we can wipe any country off the map that we want to. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I think labeling threads (US) and (NonUS) in the title would work fine.

Still don't see why this is needed at all.

Lots of bonuses exclude lots of different nationalities. Don't see why the US whores should get special treatment!

The idea to put a tag in front of the bonuses sounds fine to me, but requering it would be SO ungratefull to the poster.

Yes. The last thing I want is the treshold for posting about new bonuses getting higher.

This is a bit like seeing that your folded hand would have flopped a boat. While there are lots now that aren't available to US players (I assume), there are plenty that are available. You'll have plenty of chances to gamble online, but it may require a bit more in the way of "leg" -work, so to speak.

I don't think it's a good idea to split this particular sub forum any further.

If a poster wants to mention whether it's US-OK or not, should be up to them, but we should be checking the terms and conditions of any bonus, regardless of the forum it is posted in.
