Party rake at 50/100 and higher

sorry if this has been discussed before. Anyway, I was watching the 100/200 for a few minutes and noticed the rake was capped at $5. This was also true of the 50/100 tables. This seems disturbing to me, although players at those tables might not care as much?

been that way since they started them, guess the players don't care enough to play somewhere else

Hmmm, isn't this the same as the rake anywhere else?

FWIW, although the rake is higher, the rake as a % of the pot is lower at 100/200 and 50/100 than it is as 30/60.

No, the max is lower at Stars ($3).

I remember when these tables first came out they had a $3 max rake. On like the 2nd day or something they shut all those tables down and everyone was saying "what the hell's going on!?"... then they came back half and hour later with a $5 rake. Witnessing a rake increase was interesting.
