I've been watching CNBC for the last couple of hours, and virtually nothing on the great gambling crash, except a little headline that pops up in the ticker from time to time. Evidently some of the biggest stocks on the LSE dropping 60% overnight isn't particularly significant to ordinary U.S. investors. Walmart's earnings predictions are receiving much more coverage.

Drudge has a new link though, which says "Gambling online faces collapse in US after Senate ban..."

So I guess 10 million people are about to see that.

sadly, those tend to be the 10 million people who have the highest chances of already being educated about it.

CNBC had coverage of this in the early AM when the London markets were first opening, at least as far as reporting the headlines and the stock prices of Party, 888 and Sportingbet. No mention of any other affected stocks. In general, CNBC is worthless.
