I've left a few hundred on two accounts. I just can't see any +EV for keeping accounts funded at this point.

I agree. At this point, I wouldn't leave any money on any poker site that I wasn't prepared to lose.

can't we just keep playing until they freeze the US accounts, then cash out?

This is what I was wondering, but I didn't want to risk losing my monnies, so I cashed it out.

pulled my roll out of all sites, will make minimum deposits every morning and cash out nightly to reduce risk - wish the big 3 (nate, k, berge) were around right now

I dont think Pokerstars wants to rob millions of players... at least I hope not, cause I'm playing until the last f***cking second

is there really a possibility of that happening? doesn't seem likely unless they basically want to just shut down completely.

was there ever a time you had money on a poker site that you weren't prepared to lose?

there's no rational reason to believe the major sites won't honor cashouts.

The big 3 are not experts on gaming sites, they were experts on the Washington type stuff.

To be honest, many of the mods of our forums have ties to several of the sites. We probably know more of whats going on than most.

With that said, even though I knew yesterday that Party was bailing far before anyone else did....I haven't been able to get any concrete info from Stars and/or Full Tilt through my connections.

Considering that the big sites and neteller did virtually nothing right to this point, I'm not expecting (hoping) that they will begin to now.

THE SITES ARE NOT GOING TO [censored] ROB YOU. They will still make relative assloads of money from European customers and its not worth stealing a few thousand, or even hundred thousand from US players and then creating a Euro customer base that doesnt trust them.

I think the real issue for fast cashout would be to cash it to your bank before they dont accept money from XXXXX because it is an illegal gaming platform. JMO but I think people are overreacting in this sense.

I've cleaned up several sites I had balances in but wasn't playing lately. Why not?

I still have money on WPEX and a few primas, but plan on probably putting most of my play into WPEX starting tomorrow. It seems to be the only one taking a strong stand. So may as well get into the rhythm there, as it might be our last hope.

I just cashed out as well. I left enough to get by until I see what happens. This is a tad more serious than I expected. I thought there was going to be more of a fight before the poker sites caved in.

IIRC there was nothing in the legislation about cashing out fwiw, its discussed in a few of the big threads.

Neteller

i do not think neteller or the major sites would try to screw us. i am more worried about the us banks not accepting a neteller transfer. I doubt they would decline it, but who knows

While I don't see Party freezing our assets, I can't think of a good reason to leave any more money than absolutely necessary in there. I don't trust a company that will soon no longer let people from my home country do business, and who's stock stands to drop 40-50% tomorrow. That said, my cashout is already pending...

Stars is screwing around with my cashout.

I just tried to cash out about $1100 out of Stars and I got this email message:

I just got the same thing. My account balance now shows as zero, but there is no history and the confirmation indicates $0. WTF! I sent PS support an email about this....

They just updated their software. try restarting it.

This is starting to sound like those runs on the bank that they had during the Depression. Everybody would try to withdraw their money at once, and the bank would have to lock its doors to keep from going belly up.

How recently? I just closed and opened it again. The software didn't update and the problem is still there.

Edit: Yes, I cashed out through Neteller. That could be a source of the problem.

I don't think so... I would guess about 1% of online gamblers know about this. It hasn't been opn the news or anything yet.

I don't know I closed it after I cashed out. Then went back to see if there was a record of the cash out. The software updated and there was a record of it. I already got the initial deposit part of it back to my neteller and moved it out from there. The fact that neteller is updating seems like a likely cause if that's the method you used.
