Ok look, I play .10/.25 NL on party 4 days a week in the evenings. I don't make a ton of money, but I pay my rent with what I win. I don't see what the big deal is with this.

Can someone tell me how you set up a foriegn bank account and then how you get money from it into your US bank account. Wouldn't this solve the problem? There must be something I am overlooking here because this seems like too easy of an answer here.

If its not tough, then I am going to try to open one this week! But I would appreciate it if someone could give me the lowdown on this stuff.

This isn't a legislation question and belongs in the zoo (internet forum). There are however other threads on this in this forum, links for which you can find in my links thread below.

OK, here is what you need to do.

1. Get your passport.
2. Go to foreign country.
3. Get a lease on a property as your 'vacation home'
4. Register as a 'resident tourist' with the local police station.
5. Take lease papers and local registration to bank.
6. Fill out paperwork, US Form W9, anti-money laundering documentation.
7. Expect letters from bank when you deposit more than $10,000.

Note that that the above steps will vary by country.

Thinking about Hong Kong or Gibraltar? Good luck Yankie. Thinking of Europe. No problem. Canada--I don't know.

This is as straight as I can put it to you.

Good luck.
