What role if any does ESPN play in this? WSOP gets big ratings, and we know how ESPN likes to let us know that 1st place was 12 million. What happens next year if there is a huge decrease in entrants? A lot of poker degenerates (myself included) are much more likely to find out about the ban from ESPN or espn.com than from more legitimate news sources. Is there any way this starts to get a lot of publicity as a "sports" story because poker is one of the fastest growing "sports?"
