If a gambling site quits, will it pay out?

Let's say some online poker rooms decide to quit the business because of the new bill. Do you think they will pay out all of their customers? If Party were to pay out all of their US customers in 2 weeks, would they? And could they? Why not just take everyone's money, put up a message about "technical difficulties" on the website, and run off with the money?

I wouldn't worry about this, especially with a site as big as Party, because even with the new bill in place, it would be far less profitable for them to close down. Even if online poker player volume gets cut in half(which will take a long time), it'd still be more profitable for Party to stay in business then take everyones money on the site right now.
